Chris left his post as Global Insight Director at Universal Music Group in 2014. Before that, he was at EMI where he started and led their ‘Big Data’ team and worked closely with their consumer insight team and was responsible for their music and media forecasting, covering film, tv and gaming as well as broadband, mobile and tablets.
Before moving to the label side, Chris was Senior Economist at PRS for Music, where he co-authored the influential Adding Up the Music Industry papers – valuing the live music market for the first time – and helped the UK government re-value music’s contribution to the economy from £176m a year to £1.33bn.
Felix recently graduated from the University of Bristol. Before joining Media Insight Consulting he has worked at M&G Investments and Intermusica. Felix read music and is a classically trained musician.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Michael has experience in live events, festivals, marketing, and creative development via his work for the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority. This work in the major Sydney tourist precincts of Darling Harbour & The Rocks has also developed strength and experience in strategic engagement.
He has trained in Australia in media & communications, and recently completed a Masters specializing in Emerging Business Models, at the Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus.
Michael has a passion for music, technology and design, and is an experienced jazz saxophonist.
